THE DESIGN THAT KEEPS CATCHING MY EYE

I spy with my little eye so the childhood game goes, but have you ever noticed how your eye or ear or mouth gets locked on to some particular shape, sound, smell or taste and that’s all you can notice?

So it is with the lozenge shape and Moroccan rugs, I’ve read books on the significance of the shape and I’ve seen it on a thousand and one rugs, but I still keep finding new and interesting versions of this simple basic eternal shape.

I know that as a human our eyes are attracted to the symmetry and that looking into the eye is a natural characteristic of ours, but I just can’t stop finding it in everything for the moment, I’m sure I’ll move on eventually, but here are a few superb examples
